Since this one doesn't seem important enough for the major media outlets, this snip is from the World Homeless Action Movement website.
"Harris says, “I did not resist any type of arrest. I’m disabled, as you can see, how can I resist? They picked me up out of my chair and forced me to the ground.”
Leon Fields witnessed the arrest. He works at the Lincoln Theater across the street from the Metro stop. He says the officers were rough.
“They tell him to stand, and he can’t really stand if he’s in a wheelchair, and they slammed him on the ground, and the whole side of his face is just leaking,” said Fields.
Harris is homeless and has been a fixture on U Street for years. The life long D.C. resident sells newspapers and is known by many who describe him as harmless.">
