Around 11:22 Thursday night, Branson West police searched for one man in the crowd of shoppers at Wal-Mart. “They confronted him when he was in a crowd of people and he stuck his hand in his coat pocket,” Branson West Police Chief Doug Rader said. “They ordered him to remove his hand and he did remove his hand. They took him away from the crowd.”

Police say they found a .22-caliber handgun in the same pocket Campbell was reaching into. “He had a backpack with approximately 550 rounds of ammo, a couple knives and anti-government literature,” Rader said.
